December 1st is the South Dakota Day of Giving. 

This year our funds are going directly to help update curriculum in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. (STEAM)

Since 1949, Volga Christian School has been educating students in a Christ-centered atmosphere.  Basing our education on Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” provides the students of VCS with a foundation of faith to be able to support their beliefs in the world as they continue on their individual journeys.  Many of our alumni have become very successful businessmen, farmers, doctors, teachers, and missionaries.  They still hold onto that foundation of faith that has become the core of their everyday lives.  Weekly chapel with preschool through 8th grade fosters an environment of discipleship which prepares them to face the challenges of this world.  With our smaller class sizes, VCS has the ability to individualize learning experiences for the students who will then be able to persevere through any obstacles as their values are challenged.
